Wow ! Long time no see ! I have been incredibly busier than I expected for the last month. I thought I'd have a (too) quiet 2 weeks vacation for Christmass and new year but it turned out I was out all the time (..party all the time, party all the time, party all the tiiiiiiime ...).

Hey there! Here I am ! I know you've been waiting for news so badly, I know you miss me so much, I know I.. (this part has been deleted by the part of me which realizes you probably didn't miss it that much ). Anyway, I'm here now, writing an "article" on christmas eve, never thought i'd do it!

Time is really flying over, It's going even faster than last year. It seems both so far and still close in the same time, weird feeling. By the way, I remember planing my new year eve, a month ahead back then, and i realize that i still have no plan for next week . I guess the good point is that it makes me free to crash at any party/club i want, I like it !

Hi folks! I was thinking the other day (it happens, trust me), and i wondered "What makes japan being so different". Of course i thought about the food, the language and all the obvious things you can think about with such a stupid question. But there are other stuff that are, in my humble opinion , quite typical !! That's what i want to try to show you through this post.

First funny thing, there is an indicator on almost every pedestrian "stop" to indicate you how long you'll have to wait for the red guy to get green ! Working in the computer science field, I'm tempted to say this is a "waiting status bar", and that it's a really good idea in a matter of ergonomy improvment.... Vous devez surement vous douter de pourquoi je suis au Japon maintenant, ou pas... Pour resumer, je suis en train de faire un semestre d'etude a 千葉工業大学 (Chiba Institute of Technology) a Chiba (je sais pas si c'etait encore la peine de le preciser !). Alors, un semestre d'etude, ca comporte des etudes me direz-vous... Bon ok, c'est la que le mode boule de l'utc entre en jeu ! Au lieu d'avoir des UVs et de suivre des cours, de passer des examens et d'etre note; j'ai juste un projet a mener dans un laboratoire de recherche. Ce qui se traduit par un emploi du temps ultra cool (on m'a tout de suite dit que je venais quand je voulais au labo jour/nuit week end, mais aussi et surtout que je pouvais ne pas venir quand je veux !!!).
