California is really a cool place ! I mean, this could sound cheesy, boring or even overheard but, you've got to know it for sure: Cali's great ! Truth is, I was kinda convinced of that from before, even more when I first came here and saw San Francisco (pictures that i still have to make btw). But now, and after a little trip down to Los Angeles, i've gotta say: pretty cool .

You might or might not know that California is the biggest state of the US, and you can actually feel it when you see the distance between cities such as SF to LA. The drive is ususally of around 380 miles, but we decided to take the more touristic way, along the pacific coast : we ended up with a nice 440 miles ride ... Howdy Crazy ! I did it, I made it, It's now on my show off "been there, done that" list: The Fabulous Las Vegas ! I flew there for a big week end (from friday to monday) two weeks ago leaving from San Jose Intl Airport. First thing first, even for domestic flights, you're asked to leave your lighters and whatever gel-like liquid you possess at home. So, no way I could hijack the plane this time. It's pretty different from my last Tokyo - Paris flight when I was told to keep my lighter in cabin because it wasn't allowed in any luggage... Crazy Japanese Anyway, so i jump in the plane, fly for an hour and land in what they call the real Sin City ! First thing you can do even before getting your luggage back is: gambling your first dollars in the airport hallway... That gives you kind... [more]

Hey there! Still looking for some news from the west coast ?! I bet you are, and i'll try to feed you. Since the Bay Area must be one of the most attractive area on the Californian coast, I've had a couple friends coming over to visit it! Right now you can probably feel how glad I am to be here ! Anyways, was a good opportunity to visit around once again. I only went to SF a couple times since I arrived. The menu: Alcatraz and Palace of Fine Arts. Long time no see ! Here I am, back from my terribly long vacation far from this blog... I had pretty good reasons for not sharing my thoughts though . It's been 2 months I'm doing my final internship, yes, the very one that is supposed to lead me to the so feared life of working on an everyday basis . So i've been working for almost two months now, and if the beginning of the work took place in Paris (yeaaaah, in the Tour Montparnasse), i'm now (somehow back) in the US for the next 3 months, still working with the same company.

As you could probably guess, I'm in San Francisco this time, or not far should I say. I am precisely living in Mountain View, right in the middle of what's called the Silicon Valley. Yes, for the geek still reading these pages, it's the city... [more]

Home sweet home !! Yeah, after 5 months living among japanese, I'm back to France ! I almost forgot how french France looks . But anyway, it's good to see the "motherland". Plus I get to see my friends here, it's been a while. So guess what my first meal was back to the cheese and wine country... Yes, an amazing raclette おいしいぃ !!
